Denise C. Lindsey-Eggebraaten, 57, Minot, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in a Minot hospital.

Denise Christine Sauer was born Feb. 16, 1955, in Minot, a daughter of Frederick and Arlene (Skaufel) Sauer. She was raised and educated in the Carpio area, and graduated from Carpio High School in 1974.

She was united in marriage to Walter Lindsey in 1977. To this union two sons were born, Shaun and David. The couple divorced in 1988.

Denise was united in marriage to Michael Eggebraaten on July 15, 2002, in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where Denise worked at the Minot Air Force Base commissary and dining hall, serving as a hostess and cashier.

Denise was a very hard worker and enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed dancing, riding horse and painting. She was a very faithful person, who oftentimes would put someone else's needs in front of her own.

Denise is survived by: husband, Michael Eggebraaten, Minot; sons, Shaun Lindsey and David Lindsey, both Minot; extended children she treated like her own: Jordan Lindsey, Josh Lindsey and Tyan Lindsey; sister, Linda (Henry) Erber, Glenburn, Joan (Gregg) Peterson, Nampa, Idaho; brothers, Gene (Josephine) Sauer, Minot, and Randy (Jackie) Sauer, Golden Valley, Ariz.; nieces, Jennifer Ahmann and Tennele Kruse, both Minot, Ashley English, Couer d'Alene, Idaho; nephews, Paul Erber and Cody Sauer, Couer d'Alene.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Arlene Sauer; and grandparents, Fred and Veronica Sauer and Berger and Ruth Skaufel; and ex-husband, Walter Lindsey.

Funeral service: Monday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m., in First Assembly of God Church, Minot.

Burial: A private family committal service will take place at a later date.

Visitation: Sunday, Dec. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
