Protecting the unborn children

December 2, 2012

Is there any question that every Catholic/Christian who may have voted for the candidate who represented the abortion at any time platform has the blood of every aborted child on his hands? It seems like today's voter is more concerned about the life of a cat or dog than the life of an unborn child. Your pet is already protected by animal cruelty laws, but the unborn child has not been given that same protection.

What did that Catholic/Christian get for his vote, maybe a free meal and a T-shirt? You would have thought that at least he could have asked for 30 pieces of silver. When that Catholic finally realizes what he voted for he'll have to line up at the confessional to seek absolution. Maybe absolution will clear his conscience, because he meant well. What about the million souls of those unborn children.

Although I will not put myself into a position to judge that fellow Catholic/Christian for his position on planned abortion-hood, I can only guess what the final judge may say, "Bring the children unto me, and I shall give them rest."

I do feel sad for all those unborn children, for those unwise Catholics/Christians, and especially for my country. How can we ask God to bless our country when we first must ask him to forgive our country? Can politics ever be a bloodless sport?
