Jason Kinn, 41, Forsyth, Mont., left us unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, in Billings, Mont., as a result of a massive heart attack.

He was born March 2, 1971, in Garrison, to Orlien and Naomi (Nelson) Kinn.

Jason was a member and was confirmed at Concordia Lutheran Church in Forsyth. He graduated from Forsyth High School in 1989. In 1990, he received an associate's degree in heating and cooling from UTI in Phoenix. He later moved to Billings, where he took great pride in sheet metal and architectural sheet metal work. His craftsmanship can be seen in many communities throughout Montana. He was gifted to fix anything and was willing to help anyone in need.

Jason's daughters, Karlie and Kaitlyn, were the loves of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them. His nieces and nephews always looked forward to seeing their "Uncle Jason." Jason's greatest memories were spent with family and friends. His smile, laughter and unique sense of humor brought joy to everyone he met. He enjoyed adventure, being in the mountains, camping, four-wheeling and taking a drive listening to his favorite music. Memories of Jason will always be kept deep in our hearts.

Left to cherish his memories are daughters Karlie, 16, and Kaitlyn, 9, of Laurel, Mont.; parents, Orlien and Naomi Kinn, of Forsyth, Mont., and Coleharbor; brother, Keith (Heidi) Kinn, of Glendive, Mont.; sister, Loretta (Jim) Hansen, of Mandan; nephews, Tyler and Travis Kinn, Dane and Kylar Hansen; nieces, Tiawna Kinn and Kinnsie Hansen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Luella (Hanson) and Otto Kinn, of Benedict, and Gordon and Alice (Thompson) Nelson, of Colstrip, Mont..

Jason, wonderful son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and best friend, you will be missed and loved forever. You will always have a place in our hearts. We know you are resting peacefully in God's hands.

Services will be Saturday, Dec. 1, at 1 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 502-2nd St. NW, in Garrison.

A time of visitation will be held today, Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m. MST, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary in Billings.

Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, of Billings, and Thompson Funeral Home in Garrison are assisting the family with arrangements.
