ANNUAL NATIVITY, MUSIC EVENT SCHEDULED The annual "For Unto Us a Child is Born" nativity and music celebration will be held Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Dec. 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. in Bishop Ryan High School, 316-11th Ave. NW.
The event will include performances by the Bishop Ryan Sixth Grade, Junior High and Senior High Bands and Choirs as well as performances from the Nodakords, Voices of Note, and the Minot High Magi Drumline. A living nativity and reading of the Christmas Story from the Gospel of Luke will take place between musical performances.
Homemade holiday treats and goodies will be for sale, along with coffee and cider.
A freewill offering will be accepted.
CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON PLANNED AT SARON LUTHERAN The Saron Lutheran Christmas annual luncheon will be held Dec. 1 at 12:30 p.m. in the church, southwest of Minot.
The event will include entertainment by the Waddingtons, door prizes and the singing of Christmas carols.

DATE SET FOR FAITH UNITED METHODIST ANNUAL BAZAAR The Faith United Methodist Church annual bazaar will be Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church at 5900 U.S. Highway 83 N.
A lunch consisting of soup, sandwiches, bars and coffee, will be served, starting at 11 a.m.
Christmas decorations, quilts, aprons and baked goods will be available for sale. Customers may also purchase cookies by the pound during a "cookie walk."
LUTEFISK, MEATBALL DINNER TO BE HELD IN MINOT CHURCH Annual lutefisk and meatball dinner will be Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church, 215-3rd Ave. SE, Minot.
The cost for the dinner will be $15 for adults and $7 for children ages 12 and under.
Krumkake, rosettes, cookies and breads will be sold during the bake sale which will be held in conjunction with the dinner.
TIOGA CHURCH TO HOST ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CONCERT The fifth annual Christmas concert by candlelight will be Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. in First Lutheran Church, Tioga. Various vocal groups and instrumentalists will perform Christmas music.
A time of fellowship, with refreshments available, will follow.
ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH TO HOST ADVENT EVENT ?Zion Lutheran Church, 1800 Hiawatha St., will celebrate the Advent season on Dec. 1 at 9:30 a.m.
A breakfast will be served. There will be a short program and a time to sing Christmas carols.
There will be drawings for poinsettia plants.
