DEVILS LAKE Oscar Dammen, 91, rural Starkweather, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, in a Cando hospital.
He was born July 18, 1921, to Ivar and Marie Dammen, northeast of Starkweather. He married Lenora Bukowski on Feb. 17, 1947, in Starkweather.
Survivors: wife; sons, Curtis, of Shelly, Minn., Clayton, Starkweather, Keith, McClusky; daughters, Karen Hanson, Starkweather, Kathleen Krebsbach, of Terry, Mont., Christy Peters, Bisbee; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, 10 a.m., Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake.
Burial: Assumption of Mary Cemetery, rural Starkweather.
Prayer service and time of remembrance: Monday, 7:30 p.m., in the funeral home.
Visitation: Monday, 4 to 7:30 p.m., in the funeral home.
