CARRINGTON Thelma "Joyce" Hertel, 79, Carrington, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, in a Carrington hospital.
She was born Sept. 10, 1933, to Ralph and Rose Hatch, near Sykeston. She married Harold Hertel on Oct. 22, 1950, in Carrington.
Survivors: son, Rick, West Fargo; daughter, Barbara Sullivan, Fort Peck, Mont.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, 10:30 a.m., Federated Church UCC/UMC, Carrington.
Burial: Carrington Cemetery, Carrington.
Prayer service: Sunday, 4:30 p.m., Evans Funeral Home, Carrington.
Visitation: Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the funeral home.
