BOTTINEAU Howard Long, 89, Bottineau, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in a Bottineau nursing home.
He was born Dec. 22, 1922, to George and Lillian Long, in North Dakota. He entered the Army on Nov. 7, 1942, and served in the Eastern Mandates, Japan and the Western Pacific. He was discharged Nov. 11, 1945.
His brother, George, of Bottineau, survives.
