BELCOURT Nettie LaFountain, 81, Belcourt, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in a Belcourt hospital.
She was born Oct. 19, 1931, to Frank and Mary Grant, in Belcourt.
She married Francis LaFountain in 1965 in Belcourt.
Survivors: husband; daughters, Rita Shady, Devils Lake, Joan Cree and Lucille Vivier, both Dunseith, Patty Vivier, Carrington, Rose Burcham, Bismarck, Jenelle Karnopp, Rolla; sons, Mercal Vivier, San Diego, Vincent Vivier, of Washington state, Leslie Vivier, Belcourt, Richard Vivier, St. John, Vincent LaFountain, Fargo, James LaFountain, Devils Lake, Ricky LaFountain, Rolla; 60 grandchildren; 116 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Berg, Rolette, and Stella Seiffert, Lansing, Mich.
Funeral: Friday, 10 a.m., St. Anthony's Catholic Church, rural Belcourt.
Burial: St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
Wake and prayer service: The wake will begin today at 5 p.m., with a prayer service today at 8 p.m., both in Fiddler's Hall, rural Belcourt.
