MCHENRY Rodney Leir, 77, McHenry, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, outside his home.
He was born Dec. 19, 1934, to Clarence and Emma Leir, in McHenry. After graduation he was drafted by the Army and completed basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. The rest of his service time was spent stateside in Virginia. He married Lola Anderson June 25, 1967, in McHenry.
