MaDonna Selzler, 54, Grand Forks, formerly of Minot, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in her home.
MaDonna Ruth Stenvold was born Jan. 4, 1958, in Minot, the daughter of Lars and Marie (Fahy) Stenvold. She grew up and graduated from high school in Jamestown. MaDonna then attended Jamestown College.
She married Troy Selzler on Aug. 7, 1987, in Velva. MaDonna worked for Lowes in Grand Forks.
MaDonna befriended everyone with open arms and unconditional love. She was a kind, loving, generous and unselfish wife, grandma, mother and friend whose world revolved around her family and loved ones. She will be deeply missed.
MaDonna is survived by: Her husband, Troy Selzler, Grand Forks; daughter, Jessica (Brian) Paul, Bellevue, Neb.; son, Jamie Selzler, Lexington, Ky.; sisters, Judy (Ken) Haman, Surrey, Joyce (Les) Cabler, Carrington, Mary New, Minot; brothers, James (Jane) Stenvold, Carrington, Ronald Stenvold, Minot; grandchildren, Samantha Wilson, Samantha Paul and Riley Paul; foster mother, Charlotte Grohnke, Wimbledon; Briscoe, the family dog; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Paula; and several uncles and aunts
A visitation will take place today, Nov. 11, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m., in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks.
Funeral service: Will be Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at 2 p.m., in Hope Lutheran Church, Surrey.
Visitation: Will be in the church Wednesday for one hour before the service.
Interment: Will be in Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
