MINOT AIR FORCE BASE - The 91st Missile Wing at Minot Air Force Base brought home the Blanchard, the trophy for the best intercontinental ballistic missile wing.
The trophy was awarded to the missile wing during the Global Strike Challenge score posting at Barksdale AFB, La., Wednesday. Air Force Global Strike Command headquarters are at Barksdale.
Lt. Jose Davis, acting chief of Public Affairs at Minot AFB, said it's been 10 years since the 91st Missile Wing has won the Blanchard and the first time since the inception of Air Force Global Strike Command. Global Strike Challenge competition began in 2010.
