Prospective members of the Minot Rifle and Pistol Club attend an orientation meeting this past Wednesday. Paul Oster, membership secretary, explained membership requirements and various safety procedures. Attendance at orientation meetings is required prior to obtaining membership in the club. Club membership has passed the 1,000 mark and is still growing. The Minot Rifle and Pistol Club hosts prospective new member meetings each Wednesday at 7 p.m. at their indoor shooting range located near Trestle Valley. However, no orientation meeting is scheduled for Wed., Nov. 21. Instead, prospective members are invited to attend orientation sessions during the club’s 33rd annual Gun Show set for Nov. 24-25 at the State Fair Center in Minot.
