WILLISTON Dale Hillstead, 79, Williston, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, in a Williston nursing home.
He was born June 2, 1933, to Silas and Otelia Hillstead, in Williams County. He served in the Army from May 1953 to April 1955. He married Wilma Hickel on Nov. 12, 1955, near Williston.
Survivors: wife; daughters, VeAnna Selid, Williston, and Jody Husk, Marietta, Ga.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Lyle, Williston; sisters, Margorie Semmens, Kalispell, Mont., and Opal Mehus, of Missoula, Mont.
