WILLISTON Walter Anderson, 91, Williston, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, in his home.
He was born Jan. 13, 1921, to Albert and Selma Anderson, in Round Prairie Township, Williams County. He married Betty Jo Bearce on Oct. 8, 1952.
Survivors: daughters, Judy Shepley, Colfax, Iowa, Marlyss Wittmayer, Mandan; sons, Kurt, Bremen, Ind., Kent, South Bend, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Arnold, rural Williston, and his cousin raised as a brother, John Gustafson.
Funeral: Friday, 2 p.m., Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church, Williston.
Burial: Riverview Cemetery, Williston.
Visitation: Today, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to noon, in Everson Funeral Home, Williston.
