MSU athletic dept. to hold last fall luncheon
The Minot State University athletic department will hold its last noon luncheon of the fall season today at Sevens Restaurant.
Beavers volleyball coach Travis Ward, football coach Paul Rudolph and senior football players John Denne and Laron Peoples will participate in a question-and-answer session at the luncheon.

MSU women's soccer players honored
Three Minot State University women's soccer players were named to all-conference teams on Thursday.
Sophomore forward Zoe Fisher earned all-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference first-team honors after leading the Beavers (14-3-2) with nine goals and seven assists during the regular season. She added another goal and an assist in MSU's 2-1 win over the University of Mary on Wednesday in the first round of the NSIC tournament.
Senior goalkeeper Marie Torres was named to the third team after posting nine shutouts with a .907 save percentage.
Lexy Kidd, a senior midfielder, was tabbed an honorable-mention performer.
Regular-season champion Minnesota State-Mankato swept the individual awards. Senior midfielder Nicole Dooher was the offensive player of the year, senior defender Lauren Somers was the defensive player of the year, junior midfielder Caitlin Grabowski was named top newcomer and Peter McGahey was picked as coach of the year.
The Mavericks, ranked third nationally, host MSU at 2 p.m. today in a conference tournament semifinal.
