I had a good laugh today reading the tax article. When I came to "Christianson said commissioners have no intention of extending the tax for any other purpose once it expires." Is this the same promise as when it went from 1 cent to 1.5 cent or when it went from 1.5 cent to 2 cent? They will always have a reason to extend it. The only way this statement can be true is if none of the commissioners expects to be there when it expires. There is a 100 percent certainty that "someone" will "claim" that it "has to be extended."
