HARVEY Raymond Lockrem, 87, Salinas, Calif., formerly of the Harvey area, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, in a Salinas hospital.
He was born Feb. 27, 1925, to Ole and Martha Lockrem, in Harvey. He served in the Army from 1944 to 1946 in Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge from Dec. 16, 1944, to Jan. 7, 1945.
Survivors: wife of 36 years, Mitzie; daughter, Maire Ann Nabzeska, Smartsville, Calif.; sons, Daniel, Vallejo, Calif., Chris, Watsonville, Calif., Les, Elk Grove, Calif.; and sister, Esther Schuh, St. Cloud, Minn.
