ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Minot State University women's soccer team finished its first regular season in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with a 3-1 win over Northern State on Sunday.
The Beavers (13-3-2 overall, 11-3-1 Northern Sun) scored two goals in the second half, including an unassisted score from sophomore Zoe Fisher in the 56th minute that proved to be the game winner.
Senior Tara McPartland and junior Jamie MacFarlane also scored for MSU, whose 13th win is a school record.
The fourth-seeded Beavers open the conference tournament at home against the University of Mary Wednesday at 5 p.m.
