I think the men and women of North Dakota need to know the real Heidi Heitkamp, and why I am supporting Rick Berg for the U.S. Senate.
One issue that hasn't been addressed in this campaign is that Heidi supports and lobbied for the tanning bed industry in North Dakota. Research proves that tanning beds are cancer causers, and thanks to Heidi, this industry continues to prey on North Dakotans. Skin cancer rates continue to sky rocket in teens and young women. This ultimately increases health care rates for all of us.
Heidi should know better and have more integrity than to sell out to this industry. As a health care provider and mother of two daughters, this infuriates me. This demonstrates one of the reasons that Heidi is not a woman of principle and definitely not looking out for our best interest. Heidi is a big government fanatic who will gladly take your hard-earned money. She will say anything to get elected and will align herself with Harry Reid and the "amazing" President Obama. Heidi Heitkamp is not who we want representing North Dakota in the U.S. Senate.
