FAMILY FUN NIGHT PLANNED WEDNESDAY West Minot Church of God will host a Fall Family Fun Night Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the church which is located at 1105-16th St. NW.
The event will include "trunk or treat," hayrides, a chili cook-off, games for children, free hotdogs and more.
The event is free.
DES LACS CHURCH SETS DATE FOR ANNUAL FALL BAZAAR ?The annual Des Lacs United Methodist Church fall bazaar will be today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Des Lacs Community/Fire Hall, Des Lacs.
A buffet lunch of escalloped potatoes and ham, corn and a full salad bar will be available. Pie and coffee will be served all day.
Crafted items, baked goods, cards and napkins will be sold during the bazaar.

LUTEFISK, MEATBALL DINNER TO BE SERVED IN TOWNER CHURCH ?The annual lutefisk, lefse and meatball dinner in Zion Lutheran Church, Towner, will be Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
The cost will be $15 for adults and $5 for youth ages 6-12. Local take-outs will be available by calling 537-5711.
The church is handicapped accessible.
FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH WOMEN SET DATE FOR HOLIDAY BAZAAR The women of First Lutheran Church, in Minot, will host their annual holiday bazaar and bake sale Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Parish Center Building, 120-5th Ave. NW.
A luncheon of baked chicken breast with roasted vegetables and a brownie will be available for $6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Doughnuts, rolls and homemade pie will be served during the bazaar.
The event will feature a Grandma's Attic, Country Store with canned jellies, a Craft Corner, quilts, handiwork, boutique shop, gifts, baked goods, doughnuts, frozen apple pies and lefse.
The drawing for raffle prizes will be at 12:30 p.m.
