BISMARCK - The Minot High School volleyball team finally found the win column against Bismarck St. Mary's on Tuesday night. The Majettes swept a three-set match, 25-22, 27-25, 26-24 to get their first region win since Sept. 25 against Williston.
"The girls just put everything together tonight," MHS coach Ellen Jebens said. "Everything worked well for the first time. We passed the ball well, we hit the ball well and the girls had a lot of fun."
Senior outside hitter Alex Bolinske had eight kills to lead the Majettes. Junior setter Ashley Gathman led the team with 15 assists.
MHS hosts a triangular with Dickinson High and Turtle Mountain on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
