Irene Mickelson, 92, Minot, formerly of Glenburn, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, in a Minot nursing home.
She was born May 21, 1920, to Henry and Susanna Hatley, near Deering, in Ward County. She married Johnny Nelson. He died in the early 1960s. She married Nels Mickelson on May 6, 1967.
Survivors: daughter, Barbara Gehring, Minot; son, Gary Nelson, Jamestown; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, 11 a.m., Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Burial: Monday, Our Saviors Lutheran Cemetery, rural Glenburn.
Visitation: Monday, one hour prior to the service, in the funeral home.
