SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Minot State University volleyball fell in four sets to the University of Sioux Falls, 25-13, 23-25, 25-20, 25-20 on Friday night.
MSU (5-18 overall, 1-12 Northern Sun) had a negative hitting percentage in the first set and allowed USF to hit .600 and .500 in games one and two, respectively.
"They just played better than us starting the match," Beavers coach Travis Ward said in a press release. "It's been an issue for us at times this season, and it was tonight."
Freshman Mallory Sall had 19 kills to lead the Beavers.
MSU plays at No. 1 Southwest Minnesota State at 3 p.m. today.
