Samantha Marcum, of Elizabethtown, Ky., and Jordan Johnson, of Bowbells, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Her parents are Christopher and Sharon Marcum, of Elizabethtown. His parents are Jeffery and Jeanne Johnson, Bowbells.
She graduated from the University of Kentucky in Lexington with a bachelor of science degree in biotechnology in 2008. She went on to graduate from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Louisville, Ky., as a doctor of dental medicine. Jordan graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a bachelor of science degree in biology in 2008. He currently attends the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and will graduate in May 2013. She is employed at the University of Louisville Hospital as a dental resident.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 8, 2013, in Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church in Louisville, where the couple currently resides.
