Kaisa Messerly, of Minot, and Tim "TJ" Cody, of Cookeville, Tenn., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Melissa and Richard Messerly and Arne Moilan, all of Minot, and Tim and Jo Anne Cody, of Cookeville.
She graduated from Our Redeemer's Christian School in Minot in 2008 and earned her bachelor's degree in education kindergarten through grade eight in 2011 from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn. She teaches at Huntington Tutoring Center in Nanuet, N.Y., and also is employed as a nanny in New York.
He graduated in 2009 from Daniel 1 Academy in Tennesee and is in his final year as a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y . He will graduate and be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army May 2013.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 1, at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel in Catonsville, Md. The couple will be living on an Army post to be determined in March.
