I, John Bearman, need to set the record straight regarding a letter to the editor about Measure 5. I did not see this letter until it was published in the paper on Sept. 30. I did not approve this letter nor was I the author of this letter. It was written by a board member from the North Dakotans to Stop Animal Cruelty Act and e-mailed to my wife. My wife is on the committee for this measure and was asked to submit this letter.
