Emily Rae Evanoff and Spencer Lee Wheeling, both of Minot, announce their engagement. Their parents are Scott and Rhonda Evanoff, Minot, and Eddie and Carmen Wheeling, Minot.
Emily graduated from Minot High School in 2009 and will graduate from Minot State University in the spring of 2013 with a bachelor's degree in biology. She is employed as a swim coach with the Minot Swim Club.
Spencer graduated from Minot High School in 2009 and will graduate from MSU in the spring of 2013 with a bachelor's degree in geology. He is employed as a swim coach with the Minot Swim Club and Minot Public Schools.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 31.
