The Minot Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at North Broadway Pizza Hut at 8:50 a.m. on Monday, according to a press release.
Subsequent observation led officers to a Burlington residence where a probation search was conducted and that search led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia, a stolen firearm, and evidence of the burglary and earlier robbery that had occurred at the same Pizza Hut two weeks prior.
Two arrests were made on Douglas Gerard, 29, and David Gay, 37, both of Burlington, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to commit burglary, burglary, conspiracy to commit theft of property, theft of property, and possession of a stolen firearm. Gerard was also charged with being a felon on possession of a firearm.
