Rick Berg is a natural leader who I am proud to call my Congressman and friend. He has my full support to become North Dakota's next U.S. Senator. I have known Rick Berg for many years and have worked with Rick in the North Dakota Legislature. When I worked with Rick in the Legislature, he was one of the strongest advocates for balancing a budget. Rick knows the meaning of a dollar and knows how important small businesses are to this country success. Rick started his business with hard work and determination. His vision became a successful business. As a farmer I have often discussed agriculture issues with Rick. I am confident that Rick understands the needs of the farmer and the Ag sector of our state. I feel strongly that Rick is needed in Washington, to speak for rural issues in Congress. With Rick Berg and John Hoeven as our two Senators representing us, I am confident that we can get this country back on track.
