Rick Berg is the person we have to have representing North Dakota in the United States Senate. I have known and worked with Rick for more than 20 years. In my first session at the North Dakota Legislature Rick was the Speaker of the House. Several sessions later he served as my chairman of the House Industry, Business & Labor Committee, handling various issues dealing with Workman's Comp and Unemployment fund levels along with insurance issues, banking issues, etc. in a very capable fashion. Several sessions later Rick served as the House Majority Leader and many business friendly issues were addressed, such as rewarding oil companies for drilling in the Bakken, which started the massive boom we are experiencing today.
It seems very odd that our Democratic and liberal friends attack him for being successful- isn't that what all Americans want? The American dream! Class warfare never succeeds.
Let us do the right thing for North Dakota and send Rick to the United States Senate in November from North Dakota and assure the success and future of our great state and country.
