Lisa Wolf, Minot
Rick Berg has a long history with Minot, North Dakota. It's not a very good history, but it is a long history.
Berg regularly voted against us while he was in the state Legislature. He voted against Highway 2, against our university, even against our State Fair. It's public record.
When he got to Congress he voted against the very overpass he was just here to celebrate. It's public record.
And I think we can all agree he was less than helpful during the worst flood in Minot's history. I've spoken with plenty of Grand Forks residents who said Earl Pomeroy nearly lived there after their flood hit and helped them in every way possible. Berg rarely showed his face here. Again, it's public record.
It doesn't matter who or how many Republican officials come to Berg's defense. We know his record.
