Not the same party anymore

No, no, no.

Those were the three votes at the Democratic National Convention to include God in their platform message. There was next to no coverage to the fact that on the first day of their convention the DNC removed all mentions of God in their platform. Later, the leadership saw their radical mistake and put forth a motion to add one mention of God in their platform. It was voted on three times. No! No! No! He (God) was denied/rejected three times but the DNC chairman (hearing the rooster crow, perhaps?), decided to include one mention of our "God given talents" back in the platform. While God was denied/rejected the DNC had no less than 25 speakers lauding the virtues of taxpayer funded abortions.

Ladies and gentlemen, today's Democrat party is not the God-fearing, patriotic one my grandparents voted for, nor the one my father voted for. In fact, the president has the support of both Socialist Hugo Chavez of Venezuela (remember billions for them to develop their oil resources so we can buy more oil from them) and Communist Vladimir Putin of Russia, whom he promised "After my election, I have more flexibility." As they say, with friends like these, who needs enemies.

How any God-fearing, patriotic, people of faith can today support the God-less, radical Democrat Party is beyond me.
