Knights come back, top Kenmare in 5

KENMARE - The Our Redeemer's Christian School volleyball team rallied from two games down to defeat Kenmare 3-2 in a District 12 volleyball matchup Tuesday night.

Senior Ashley Koppinger led ORCS (26-7-4 overall, 6-0 district) with 27 kills and 28 digs. Junior Brooke Knutson and eighth-grader Morgan Olson combined for 45 assists in the 20-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-18, 15-11 victory.

Knights coach Sherry Carlson said her team's offense had more continuity beginning in the third game.

"They just got to the point where they knew that they had to change," Carlson said. "We were making a lot of errors in the first two games. They knew they had to get the passes in line to the setters to get our offense rolling."

ORCS plays at Surrey at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
