Brittany Backes and Dustin Offerdahl, both of Minot, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Their parents are Patricia Ballard and Blair Backes, Minot, and Donald and Patricia Offerdahl, Bismarck.
She graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in Minot and works for Cognizant in Minot. He graduated from Minot High School and is employed by Aux Sable Midstream.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 20, in First Lutheran Church, Minot. Invitations are not required for the dance at 8 p.m. in the Holiday Inn-Riverside in Minot.
