BREAKFAST PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT MATERNITY HOME Our Lady of Grace Knights of Columbus, in Minot, will hold a breakfast in conjunction with the Our Lady of Grace Respect Life Fair on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the lower level of the church at 707-16th Ave. SW. Parish youth will assist with the serving.
Sausage, eggs, french toast and pancakes will be served for the breakfast.
Proceeds of the freewill offering will benefit St. Guiana's Maternity Home at Warsaw.
DATE SET FOR LUTEFISK, MEATBALL DINNER IN MAX A lutefisk and meatball dinner is scheduled Oct. 14 from 1 to 5 p.m. in Our Savior Lutheran Church, Max.
The cost will be $15 for adults and $5 for youth ages 6 to 12. Preschoolers will not be charged.
CHRISTIAN WOMEN'S CLUB TO MEET TUESDAY ?Minot Christian Women's Club will meet Tuesday from 12:15 to 2 p.m. in the Grand International Inn, Minot. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

COMMUNICATION EFFORTS UPDATED BY DIOCESE ?The Roman Catholic Diocese of Bismarck has updated its communication efforts to more effectively reach the people of western and central North Dakota.
Highlighting the improvements is the launch of a redesigned diocesan website: (www.bismarckdiocese.com). In addition, Most Rev. Bishop David D. Kagan will be publishing weekly video updates titled "The Dash Report" which will be available on the new website. The Bismarck Diocese has also activated accounts on social media sites including Facebook.com (Bismarck Diocese), Vimeo.com (Bismarck Diocese), Youtube.com (BismarckDiocese) and Twitter.com (@BisDiocese).
The Bismarck Diocese has also introduced the Dakota Catholic Action Online, which is a video-based online supplement to the Dakota Catholic Action, the official diocesan monthly newspaper that is sent to the homes of registered parishioners. All DCA Online content is available on the diocesan website and also published on the official diocesan Vimeo and Youtube channels.
The Diocese of Bismarck, which was established Dec. 31, 1909, covers more than 34,000 square miles and 23 N.D. counties. The diocese consists of 98 parishes that serve over 60,000 Catholics in the state.
