DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) - The city engineer in the western North Dakota oil patch city of Dickinson is resigning because of his workload and stress.
Shawn Soehren told city commissioners this week that he wants to be done on Oct. 15, though he will help with the transition to a new city engineer.
The Dickinson Press reports that Soehren has been with the city for almost a dozen years. Mayor Dennis Johnson says he will be missed.
