He was born Jan. 10, 1935, to Antonia and Herbert Filler Sr., at Martin. He married Rosemary Pfeifer on Nov. 16, 1955, in Drake.
Survivors: wife; daughters, Linda Lemer and Renae Johnson, both Carrington, Karla Martin, Anamoose, Mary Volk, Glasgow, Mont., Bonita Townsend, Layton, Utah; sons, Terry, Arnegard, Scott, Rugby, Cory, Depere, Wis., Jason, Kindred; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd, of Winner, S.D., Vernon, Coalville, Wash., and Charles, Pierre S.D.; sisters, Margaret Graves, Lexington, S.C., Helen Ruppel and Beatrice Hayes, both Puyallup, Wash., Karene Helm, of West Cola, S.C., and Shirley Weigel, Velva.
Funeral: Thursday, 11 a.m., Little Flower Catholic Church, Rugby.
Burial: Thursday, 3:30 p.m., Holy Cross Cemetery, Drake.
Rosary and vigil prayer service: Today, 7 p.m., Anderson Funeral Home, Rugby.
Visitation: Today, 4 to 7 p.m., and Thursday, 9 to 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home. There will be no reviewal in the church.
