MANDAN - The Minot High School girls golf team was in seventh place following day one of two at the state tournament Monday at Prairie West Golf Course.
Fargo Davies leads the tournament with 330. Bismarck Century and Fargo North are tied in second with 343. MHS shot 383.
MHS senior Haili Duchsherer led the Majettes, shooting 86. Eighth grader Makensy Arlene (97), sophomore McKinley Bender (99) and eighth grader Paige Argent (101) rounded out the team's scoring.
The tournament concludes with today's round. Fargo North's Annie Twells (77) leads two others by two strokes.
