NEW ROCKFORD Jerry Fleming, 78, New Rockford, formerly of Warwick, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, in a New Rockford nursing home.
He was born Aug. 3, 1934, to William James and Harriet Fleming, in Eddy Township, Eddy County. He married Marlyss Hendrickson on March 18, 1954, in Sheyenne.
Survivors: wife; sons, David and William James, both of Warwick; daughters, Cheri Schaffer, Fort Gordon, Ga., Lisa Hartl, Devils Lake, Heidi Irmen, Fargo, Marianne Quittschreiber, of Arthur; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Gaylen, Gettysburg, S.D., Gene, Pueblo, Colo.; sisters, Muriel Stillwell, Fort Mill, S.C., Averiel Wood, Devils Lake, Glenna Gjestvang, New Rockford.
Funeral: Saturday, 10:30 a.m., First Lutheran Church, New Rockford.
Burial: Prairie Home Cemetery, New Rockford.
Visitation: Today, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.
