Edgar Salveson, 80, Bismarck, N.D., died Sept. 19, 2012, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck.
Cremation has taken place and graveside service will be held at a later date.
Edgar Floyd Salveson was born June 13, 1932, in Wildrose, N.D., the son of Mandt and Margaret (Garbel) Salveson. He lived with his stepsister, Pearl Wrolson, until her death. He worked the family farm near Corinth, N.D., all his life and retired from farming and moved to Wildrose in the early 1990s. After renting out his farm land, he worked for area farmers and from 1995 to 2008 he worked for Wildrose Nursery as production manager. He entered the Good Samaritan Center in Crosby on Nov. 28, 2008, and lived there until Dec. 27, 2011. He then moved to the West View Unit of Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck.
Edgar is survived by: his legal guardians, Gary and Holly Stefonowicz; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marvin and Chester Salveson; stepsister, Pearl Wrolson; and stepbrothers, Grant, Melvin, and Archie Wrolson.
