Goldy Morrow, 75, of Beulah, formerly of Wolford, died Sept. 20, 2012, at her home in Beulah. Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at 10 a.m. CDT in Peace United Methodist Church, Beulah, with Pastor Steve Behrens officiating. Burial will take place Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. CDT at Wolford City Cemetery, Wolford. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. CDT, at Barbot-Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah.
Goldy was born June 12, 1937, in Wolford, to Mosie and Edna (Stoll) Yoder. She grew up and attended school in Wolford. On July 29, 1954, Goldy married Lyle Morrow and the two farmed near Wolford until 2001, when they moved to Beulah.
Goldy was a member of Peace United Methodist Church and was active in the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and going for walks. She also loved to decorate for the holidays and spend time with her friends. She especially took great joy in being with her grandchildren.
Goldy is survived by: two daughters, Melody (Jerome) Heth, of Towner, and Teri (Rick) Mitzel, of Beulah; two sons, Jim (Carol) Morrow, of Center, and Jeff (Kathy) Morrow, of Wolford; eight grandchildren, John (special friend, Trisha Nelson) Mitzel, Matt (Lindsey) Mitzel, Amanda Morrow, Sara Jo (Josh) Paluch, Justin Heth, Josh Morrow, Zach Morrow and Peyton Morrow; one great-grandchild, Sawyer Mitzel; two sisters, Shirley (Bud) Larson, of Bothell, Wash., and Della (Boyd) Stevenson, of Leeds; and two brothers, Edwin (Marla) Yoder, of Rugby, and Don (Ruth) Yoder, of Harvey.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Lyla; her parents; and her sister, Sharon Elgaen.
Arrangements are being conducted by Barbot-Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah and Hazen.
