I am writing to endorse the candidacy of Mike Rose for the North Dakota House from District 38. I've known Mike for close to 20 years now and have always found him to be a man of centrist, main stream views firmly planted in the soil of North Dakota and reflecting the values of North Dakotans.
We are becoming as mired in destructive, extremist politics at the state level as we have seen in Washington and the current incumbents of District 38 seem more interested in pushing an agenda of right wing social engineering than in solving the problems of concern to North Dakotans, meaningful reform of property taxes, affordable housing for ordinary wage earners and stopping the rising crime rate.
Mike brings a strong work ethic, a willingness listen to the views of others and critical thinking skills necessary to forge a consensus on these difficult issues. I think he would make a great addition to the legislature and I look forward to the opportunity to work with him in Bismarck.
