Magicians crush overmatched Dickinson

DICKINSON - The Minot High School boys tennis team lost just six games during its 9-0 win Tuesday against Dickinson.

The Magicians (9-0 overall, 5-0 West Region) routed the Coyotes in singles play, losing just four games in six matches. Each of Minot's players posted a 6-0 set.

"A good day for us against a young and inexperienced team," MHS coach Scott DeLorme said in a press release. "Nice to see us take care of things quickly and not drag out matches."

The Magicians play at Mandan at 4 p.m. Thursday. An MHS win would secure an outright first-place finish in the West Region.
