University of Mary junior forward Alex Bachman-Williams, a former Minot High School soccer standout, was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference's offensive player of the week after netting two game-winning goals.
Bachman-Williams, an all-region performer and Mary's leading scoring in 2011, converted a penalty kick Saturday in the Marauders' 3-2 win over previously unbeaten Southwest Minnesota State. On Sunday, she scored with two minutes, 59 seconds remaining in the second overtime to give Mary a 2-1 win over the University of Sioux Falls (S.D.).
The Marauders are 3-0 in NSIC play.
