ROLLA - The Minot High School girls golf team took third place at the Turtle Mountain Invite at Rolla Country Club on Monday.
The Majettes shot a combined 406, 36 back of tournament winner Bismarck Century and one behind second-place Dickinson. It was the closest MHS has come to either school this season.
Century's Lindsay Reede won the invite with an 83. MHS senior Haili Duchscherer posted a 95, and junior Hallie Williamson shot a 98 and impressed coach Cody Mueller.
"We had a career round by Hallie Williamson," Mueller said. "That was a great addition for us today, having her put up that score for us."
The Majettes play in a tournament Monday at Mandan's Prairie West Golf Course.
