BEMIDJI, Minn. - Henry Martens, 83, Bemidji, formerly of Grafton and Parshall, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, in Bemidji.
He was born May 20, 1929, to Mary and Adolf Martens Sr., in Parshall. He was drafted into the Army in 1951. He served in Japan and was discharged as a private first class in 1953. He married Sharon Wilson on Aug. 30, 1964, in Grafton.
Survivors: wife; son, John, Bemidji; two grandsons; brothers, Donald, Grand Forks, William, Parshall, Robert, St. Thomas, Frederick, Great Falls, Mont.
