Minot Daily News

KRAMER - One Bottineau man was killed and another injured in a rollover crash near Kramer Saturday at about 4:45 p.m., the North Dakota Highway Patrol reported.

The driver, 20-year-old Zachary Reinoehl, Bottineau, and his passenger, 18-year-old Austin Kerslake, also from Bottineau, were traveling south on a rural gravel road when Reinoehl lost control of the vehicle, a 1998 Pontiac minivan. The vehicle traveled into the east side ditch and rolled before coming to rest upright in the east side ditch. Both Reinoehl and Kerslake were ejected from the vehicle and Reinoehl was pronounced dead at the scene. Kerslake was transported to a Bottineau hospital and then tranferred by helicopter to Trinity Hospital in Minot. Reinoehl and Kerslake were not wearing seatbelts.

The crash is still under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
