Two men required medical attention following a reported assault in a bar parking lot early Sunday morning, according to Minot Police.
Officers who responded to a call shortly after 1 a.m. about a fight in the lot at the Chicago Club found the two men on the ground with severe lacerations to their heads. The officers were told that one of the men had tried to stop a vehicle, which had struck a person, from leaving the parking lot. A witness told officers that the occupants in the vehicle jumped out and assaulted the two, knocking them unconscious before fleeing the scene. Both men were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Police continue to investigate.
