Main Street will be closed off at 6 a.m. on Saturday from Third Avenue Southwest to Central Avenue and Central Avenue will be closed off from 1st St. SE to Broadway upon the start of the Minot State University Homecoming Parade at 10:30 a.m. Broadway will be closed from 2nd Ave. NW to 19th Ave. NW at the start of the parade on Saturday and will remain closed until the parade is completed at around noon. Minot police are asking motorists to choose alternative routes during those times.
The parade will start with units lining up in the 10 block of 3rd Ave. SW. They will proceed north on Main Street to Central Avenue, then west on Central Avenue to Broadway. From there they will proceed north on Broadway to 11th Avenue and then west to the Minot State University Dome.
