HARVEY Roy Filler, 87, of Harvey, formerly of Martin, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, in a Harvey nursing home.
He was born June 18, 1925, to Reinhold and Christianna Filler, in the Lincoln Valley area north of Denhoff. He married Darleen Gesellchen Oct. 3, 1948, in Denhoff.
Survivors: wife; son, Steven, Cocoa, Fla.; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter, Denhoff, Wesley, Minot, Rufus, Fargo; sisters, Lillie Feil, Rock Valley, Iowa, Violet McCartney, of Nebraska.
Funeral: Saturday, 10:30 a.m., Mennonite Brethren Church, Harvey.
Burial: Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey.
Visitation: Friday, 2 to 7 p.m., in Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.
